Happy July, everyone! We hope you all enjoyed time with your loved ones for the 4th.
- Please help us recognize June's Perfect Attendance Awardees: Burt, Malcolm, Jayse, James, Tony, Eric H, Ben, Catheleen, Crystal, Kristina, Raven, Kyle, Allyson, Mykayla, Alicia, Abbygail, Debbie, Ryder, Mario, Dana, & Shane. Great job, everyone!
- We'd like to acknowledge that this was a record-breaking Perfect Attendance month, as well. We can't thank you, all, enough for your hard work & dedication!
- Be sure to continue working on your apprenticeship classes in Relias. Some of you are so close to completion! We'd love to see you knock those out!
- Several policies were updated on 7/10/26. They have been posted in the "All Staff" chat & updated Policies & Procedures Manuals have been emailed to everyone. Please be sure to review them. Be aware that there is one completely new policy, governing contact between employees & supported individuals outside of scheduled working hours. Please be especially sure to familiarize yourselves with these expectations, as well as the related request form.
- PCGH Respite Care Center is hosting a Community Appreciation event on 7/17 12p-4p. All individuals & employees (& their families) are invited! There will be games, a bounce house, drinks & refreshments. We hope to see you there!

Individual Supported Living (ISL)
Individualized Supported Living (ISL) is a Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program that provides individualized supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who choose to live in their own home. Services are designed around each person's strengths, preferences, goals, and assessed needs through a person-centered planning process.
Pulaski County Group Home is committed to supporting each individual in exercising choice, building independence, and participating fully in community life. Staff provide individualized assistance that promotes self-determination while respecting each person's rights, dignity, privacy, and autonomy. Supports are delivered in the least restrictive manner possible and are intended to help individuals develop and maintain the skills needed to live as independently as they choose.
Supports and services that are provided in the home, by trained staff, depend on each person's individualized support plan, & may include:
- Creating and achieving personal goals
- Emotional adjustment
- Social skills training
- Money management training
- Personal financial assistance
- Functional living skills
- Family-style meals
- Meal planning and preparation training
- Dietary support and oversight for doctor ordered diets
- Management of health care needs
- Nursing oversight
- Medical assistance including; medication/insulin administration
- Self-medication training
- Transportation to employment, day activity programs, and to
access the community
