Announcements
Happy "Heart Month," everyone!
- Please help us recognize January's Perfect Attendance awardees: Jayse, Ramona, Ben, Zachary, Eric B, Bryant, Valerie, Raven, Kyle, Katie, Mykayla, & Dana. Way to go, guys!
- Let's welcome our new & returning team members: Deshaun, Madison H., Abbygail, James, & Machelle.
- We are excited to be opening our 7th location on March 1st! For reference, we ended 2022 with just the Group Home. We have experienced a lot of growth in 3 just years. Thank you to everyone on our team for making this possible!
- The Respite Care Center is hosting a Shamrock Shuffle Extravaganza from 5p-7p on 3/13/26. It is open to all of our individuals, staff, & their families, as well as our community partners. There will be dancing, activities, food, & drinks. Everyone is encouraged to wear green.
- Our next mandatory, in-person, staff meeting is April 8th, 9am at the Group Home. However, staff are encouraged to attend all staff meetings at 9am on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. You can find the virtual link on your Outlook Calendar. All meeting attendance contributes points for Employee of the Month consideration.
- We host an annual "Summer Bash" each August for our individuals, staff, & their loved ones. We'd like to hear your suggestions on the type of events & locations you're interested in. Please message Kayce & Christian your ideas through email or the Teams App. We've previously hosted pool parties, BBQs, & fish fries, but we're open to new suggestions. We need time to plan & reserve venues, so your early input is appreciated.

Professional Boundaries
Please review the following video on setting & maintaining boundaries as a professional caregiver:
Another important point that this video didn't touch on is the importance of maintaining the consistency of care given by the rest of their care team, as expressed in the individuals' treatment plan (newly titled as their "Personal Care Support Plan.") As much as we like to go above & beyond for them, sometimes providing more support than necessary results in a setback in our individuals' independence. Our goal should always be to provide exceptional care with the least interference possible. As residential providers, we aim to maintain an environment that promotes the enhancement of our individuals' daily living skills, while uplifting them in the areas needed.
